Prelude Chamber Music Camp/Festival Weeks
Beginning to Master String Musicians of All Ages (Kindergarten through 12th grade, college and adults) come together for Summer Camp and Festival to play chamber music in small ensembles under the tutelage of some of the finest professional string musicians in Northeast Florida. Most of the instructors are also members of the Jacksonville Symphony. The 5-10 day camp and festival (depending on the program), runs June 8-17. The area’s finest chamber and symphony musicians will instruct the 14th Annual Prelude Chamber Music workshops and provide performance coaching, for musicians in grades K-12 and Adults. Includes development and experiences for beginning to master class level musicians. This concert on June 13th, showcases music developed during the annual Prelude Chamber Music Summer Camp. Students in the Intensive Program of Prelude Chamber Music Camp will give a special performance on Sunday, June 14th, for the residents and guests of Fleet Landing.
