Remembering Rocco "Rocky" Di Georgio
Rocky Di Georgio dedicated his life to the art of music, nurturing countless violin students in and around Jacksonville, FL. As a beloved instructor, conductor, and composer, his passion for music was evident in every note that he taught and every piece of music that he crafted for young musicians.
At Prelude, Rocky served as the conductor for our Premiere String Orchestra. His unique ability to connect with students, fostering both their technical skills and love for music, left a lasting impression on all who had the privilege to work with him. His Students cherished their time under his guidance, drawn by his warmth, enthusiasm, and unwavering support.
As we approach this year’s camp, the absence of Rocky’s vibrant spirit will be deeply felt. His legacy, however, will resonate through the music he shared and the lives he touched, and his influence will continue to inspire future generations of young musicians.
